Truth
If we are ever to see true revival again in the United States, it will be ushered in through prayer, and through preaching like this - Tony "The Lawman" Miano

Deeper Conference 09
The Deeper Conference is coming back to Woodstock, Ga on September 11th and 12th. I can't wait. I was able to attend the very first one last year and went out with the first 500 group too. What a blast, shout out to Marcus Pittman! I learned so much and met some great friends being there. More than anything I'm really looking forward to hearing Mark Cahill speak this year. I was able to hear him in a church a few months ago and I was able to speak with him shortly after. What a generous man. He gave our evangelism team two cases of his books to pass out and didn't ask us for a penny.
Christian apologetics has become so interesting to me. I want to know how to defend my faith, another reason I can't wait for the conference is.....Ravi Zacharius! This man is one of the most brilliant Christian apologists that I have ever heard. Can't wait. I'll post pics and updates after the conference is over.

Joseph Smith's First Vision: Fact or Fiction?
Joseph Smith's First Vision: Fact or Fiction?
Which First Vision account should we believe?
"The Lord did not come with the armies of heaven...But He did send His angel to this same obscure person, Joseph Smith ...and informed him that he should not join any of the religions of the day, for they were all wrong;..." (Journal of Discourses 2:171). – Brigham Young

Doing what he does best...
Ray Comfort takes on a professing Atheist at Huntington Beach, CA. This (in my opinion) is one of the best videos I’ve seen from Way Of The Master.

Seeker-Sensitive
The Seeker Sensitive Movement – Over the past few weeks I have personally wrestled with many thoughts of how church should be done and who exactly is the church for? Many people today feel that church is for those who are “seeking” God or for those who are trying to figure things out. It almost seems that the idea of preaching from the Word if it makes others feel uncomfortable is being left out of many churches. The thoughts of feeding the flock are being left behind for a more entertaining service that will be more palatable for the un-churched. So who is the church for? My friend Robert summed it up in an email as follows:Robert wrote:
“ …look at what the church did in the Bible. It wasn't for sinners, but for those who were already saved. It’s the church's job to GO and seek to save the lost. It doesn't say bring the lost to church to have some preacher like Billy Graham preach to them. Yes, there are those who are not saved at church. There are millions of people who go to church who are not saved. But dumbing down the Gospel will not save them! The true Word is not preached in thousands of churches across the country. People in those churches have a warped sense of who God is. They only see God's love, not His judgment and wrath. Because God is perfect and holy, He must pour out His wrath on all who don't truly believe. We all deserve it.” - http://www.digthefig.com/
I couldn’t have said it any better myself. Please consider the following analogy of a police station. Do the police wait for the criminal to turn himself in? No way! It doesn’t matter what you offer the guilty criminal he will not want to turn himself in! You could invite a band to play at the police station, have multiple giveaways, throw a big party, but the criminal wants no part of the law. So, what then must the police do? Go out and apprehend them! Now go and make disciples for Jesus Christ!
Let’s end this look at the Seeker Sensitive Movement with a video from Paul Washer…
